Pesto and Avocado Fresh Mini Tarts with Hummus
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1/2 cup of hummus
- 1/4 cup of pesto sauce
- 2 ripe avocados, sliced
- 1/4 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C
Prepare a lightly floured surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet
Then, cut it into circles or squares that are about the size of mini tarts
Put the puff pastry pieces on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it
Place the puff pastry in an oven that has already been heated
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and puffs up
Take them out of the oven and let them cool down
Put some hummus on top of each mini tart after the dough is cool
Add a spoonful of pesto sauce on top of the hummus
On top of the pesto, put slices of ripe avocado
Add cherry tomato halves to the tarts to make them look and taste better
Add fresh basil leaves to the top of each tart
Add a little salt and pepper to taste to the tarts
