Sweet Potato Sunrise Smoothie

A bright and healthy way to start the day is with this Sweet Potato Sunrise Smoothie. It tastes great and is full of healthy things like vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. The sweet potato and banana flavors go well with the spicy cinnamon and turmeric.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium sweet potato, baked and peeled
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave syrup optional
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions:

Put the frozen banana, almond milk, orange juice, cinnamon, and turmeric in a blender

Then add the baked sweet potato

Mix until its creamy and smooth

For more sweetness, taste it and add maple syrup or agave syrup if you like

If you want it thicker, add ice cubes and blend until its smooth

Pour into glasses and serve right away
