Deviled Crabs
Deviled crabs are a delicious and savory seafood dish made by stuffing crab shells with a flavorful mixture of breadcrumbs, vegetables, and spices. Baked until golden brown and crispy, these deviled crabs are perfect for seafood lovers.
Ingredients:
- 6 cooked crabs, cleaned and shells reserved
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat
Saut onion, garlic, and red bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes
In a bowl, combine sauted vegetables, breadcrumbs, parsley, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper
Fill the cleaned crab shells with the mixture, pressing down gently
Place stuffed crab shells on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through
Serve hot and enjoy
