Beef Enchilada Dip
For your next party dip, try this Beef Enchilada Dip with a Tex-Mex twist. Seasoned ground beef, enchilada sauce, green chilies, and melted cheese baked to gooey perfection make this dish taste great. Pair it with tortilla chips for an appetizer that everyone will love and that will disappear in no time
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 can 10 oz enchilada sauce
- 1 can 4 oz diced green chilies
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is softened
Stir in the enchilada sauce and diced green chilies
Cook for another 2-3 minutes
Spread the beef mixture evenly into a 9x9 inch baking dish
In a bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, and chopped cilantro
Spread the cheese mixture over the beef mixture in the baking dish
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted and lightly browned
Serve hot with tortilla chips for dipping
